How to play Dynamons 8

• explore the Chinese Festival, the new setting of the game
• start off with a quick fight to learn the basics of the turn-based monster battles
• choose your starter Dynamon:
  • Flowmingo (Grass)
  • Fengo (Fire)
  • Tailton (Water)
• fight wild monsters to catch them
• train and battle with them against other trainers
• defeat all your opponents and become the top Dynamon Captain!

Turn-based fighting gameplay

Your monster is at the bottom, and the opponent's at the top. You select attacks from the list you have, and then your opponent attacks. Deplete the enemy of their health bar to defeat them. If they kill your monster first, you lose.

Combine attack with defense

In addition to attack moves, you will learn defensive moves as well. Use special items from the bag to replenish your health!

Catch wild Dynamons!

After defeating one such monster, throw the floppy disk at them to capture them. Now, they get added to your team, and can use them in future battles.

Use the elements to your advantage!

After you see who you have to battle, pick the right Dynamon for each fight. Choose water monsters when fighting fire monsters, or vice-versa. Use this to your advantage!

Evolve your Dynamon!

Winning fights, or just by fighting, you earn experience points. They upgrade your monsters, making them stronger. You get new attacks, and they will deal more damage, the more experienced they are.

Evolve them into better versions as well, so all their abilities get stronger! You earn shards and you exchange them for the experience points and fill up the progress bar.

Earn rewards!

After successful fights, the game can give you useful items to use:

• level up snacks
• power peppers
• rage root

Catch them all and become the top trainer/captain!

Along the path of the Chinese Festival, you will encounter more and more captains. They get stronger, and you get stronger! Just become a better fighter than them, and you will win. If you lose, go back to the drawing board, and try new fighting strategies to win when you give it another go!

Win all the fights along the path, reach 100% completion, and you win the game! Try to collect all the Dynamon along the way too, like you would do with a Pokedex!

Follow the professor's advice!

The professor's character pops out and gives you advice between the stages. When new mechanics are introduced, he explains them, so follow his guidance, and you will do just fine!

Can you play Dynamons 8 on mobile devices?

Yes! Use the mouse to play on computers, and tap on the touch screen if playing on a phone or tablet.
