There are four game modes you can play this game in:

- Endless, where you have to survive for as long as possible, taking on never-ending waves of tank enemies.

- Special Missions, which are more difficult, but offer the biggest rewards.
From the garage in the main menu you are able to acquire new tanks, make upgrades, add power-ups, and make customizations to your tank's design.

How to play Tanks: The Last Battle
- Move with WASD.
- Hold and move the mouse to look around.
- Press Space to fire your cannons.
- Press the number keys to use power-ups.
- Use the mini-map to find targets and new missions.
You will enter the battlefield, the war zone, where you encounter the tanks of your enemies, with whom you engage in life-or-death tank battles.
Shoot up enemy tanks until you deplete them of their health bar and blow them up to win. If they shoot you up first, you lose instead.
Find health packs to repair your tank as well as new upgrades and power-ups on the field, take them, and use them to get the upper hand on your foes.
