There are three modes you can choose to race in this game, which means the type of vehicle you want to drive:

Car
Monster Truck
Truck

Of course, you will be paired up with the same kinds of vehicles in your races, of which you have twelve in total, each one getting harder and more difficult than the last, mainly because of the courses, which get trickier. There is also the Drift Drive mode, where your aim is to go solo on the tracks from the island and do as many drifts as possible. The Free Ride mode needs to be unlocked.

To win races, of course, it goes without saying, you need to cross the finish line ahead of your competition, at the end of all the laps. Be careful how you drive by taking turns, doing drifts, and avoiding going off-road or hitting and crashing into other cars or the environment since that slows you down heavily.

If you see the green holographic arrow symbols in the sky, go through them, since they are Nitro gas upgrades that you can use to activate your NOS. To drive you use the ARROW keys or the WASD keys, depending on what suits you best, and to activate the nitro for extra speed, hold the shift key.
