When your turn to sing comes in the song, you'll see arrow symbols matching above BF's head, a moment when you have to press the identical arrow keys. That is how you hit the notes, and if you do it until the end of the song, you win but know that missing to hit the notes too many times in a row, you lose and have to start again from scratch.
