Meet The Flintstones!

Fred and Wilma Flinstones are the main characters, who live in a stone house together with their daughter Pebbles, and their pet dinosaur Dino. Their neighbors and best friends are the family of Barney and Betty Rubble, who have a boy named Bamm-Bamm, and a pet kangaroo called Hoppy.

• Barney is shorter and fatter than Fred, his best friend, with whom he works at the same company, and shares hobbies.
• Betty is not just Barney's wife, but Wilma's best friend as well, and she can get quite jealous if any women get near her husband.

The show is set during the Stone Age, but family dynamics and society is shaped on 20th-century living, which creates a funny contrast that so many people love. For example, the families have cars, which are made of wood, and instead of wheels, they run on the legs of the people 'driving' them.

They all live in the fictional town of Bedrock, where humans live alongside dinosaurs, as well as prehistoric creatures of the time.
