You find yourself with the key that opens the door to your cell, meaning that you can get out, but it is not all that simple, since you first need to collect three kinds of keys and passes:

Red
Blue
Green

There will be arrows on the screen that point you towards them, so use WASD to move towards them, and use the E key to grab them when found. That is the key you use for general interaction.

Find all the items you need, and then get out through the main exit, all the while being careful not to get caught by the guards who are moving about the place, doing their job, because if they catch you, you lose and have to start again.

Those are the basics, and you should know that for each new escape, things get harder, but we are sure that you will focus and become better as you keep playing the game!
