Spark Chess is yet another really fun version of chess that you can play online for free, whether on computers or mobile devices. Let's go!

How to play Spark Chess

Play versus the computer in the 1P mode.
Play against another real player in the 2P mode.
Use the mouse to make moves, and touch controls of mobile devices.
If you're in two players, swap the mouse between you, or the mobile device.

Defeat your opponent by check-mating them, doing so by stealing their king piece, or rendering them unable to make any moves.

The two players get the same amount of pieces, on opposite ends of the chess board. One player is white, one player is black. White always starts the game.

Click on your pieces, and then tap on the squares where they can move to make chess moves. Each type of piece has their own set rules of movement:

Queen
King
Rooks
Bishops
Knights
Pawns
