Chess is a really old but still relevant board game with a battlefield of black and white squares, and pieces meant to emulate an army and its ruling class:

Queen
King
Rooks
Bishops
Knights
Pawns

Defeat the computer in a game of chess by capturing their king. Each of these pieces has their own sets of movements they can make. For example, knights move in an L-Shape. Pawns only move forward. Devise the best plan to utilize their strength, and don't reveal your weaknesses!

The benefits of playing chess for the brain:

Decision-making: in turns, you and the computer move the pieces on the board. One moves the white pieces, the other one the black pieces. Move pieces to eliminate the pieces of the computer. They will do the same. Having more pieces is an advantage.
