Bad Ice-Cream is the first edition in what became a really popular series of 2 Player games from Nitrome, who create some of the best retro-like games for browsers, with 8bit graphics like this one, where you are playing around in a maze, something you get to do solo or with another player, as competition makes things more fun, and in case this is your first meeting with the series, we will now give you all the instructions you might need!
Before you begin, you choose if you're playing solo versus the CPU, or in 2P against another real player, and each player gets to pick the ice cream flavor they want for their avatar, which will be depicted as a scoop of ice cream with a mouth and eyes, eyebrows too:
Now, most probably you chose to play in two players, in which case we've got the following sets of controls you need to know:
The maze in this game is made out of blocks, and you can shoot them down to make way and create paths to advance. The fruits around the maze, such as grapes, bananas, lemons, oranges, or watermelons, but others too will be your target, as each player tries to collect more fruits than the other one to win.
Various creatures are moving around the maze, and you need to avoid them because if they come by and flatten you, you lose and have to start again from scratch.
Complete each of the 40 levels before the time granted to you for that runs out, and know that you might have two kinds of fruits to collect, instead of just one, so don't get killed before you achieve that.
