184 Getaway Shootout is a game with ragdoll physics, pixel characters, and a 2-player mode. Let's hop, shoot, and get to the objective first!
Let's win the Getaway Shootout!
Your goal is simple: reach the getaway objective first to win each round. The first one there wins. There are no wins for reaching there in a tie. Be the first one! The players get thrown out of a truck, and then start hoping to the objective. Yes, literal jumping around.
Use your jumping buttons to go left and right. Find the weapons, usually guns, and press the power-up key to shoot them. Wait, wasn't this a racing game with jumping? Well, it's more than that, it's a shooting game too!
- From our experience, when we shot the other characters, we had a free path to the getaway objective, so eliminating the competition is definitely a strategy we recommend!
Controls for the One Player mode of Getaway Shootout
Now that you get the premise, we're sure you want to know how to execute it. If you're trying the 1P mode first, by yourself, to get the hang of it and then beat your real opponent in the 2P mode faster, do it, there's no honor in a shootout! Here are your controls:
- W to jump left;
- E to jump right;
- R for power-up;
What are the controls for the Two Player Mode?
Player 1 uses the same controls as before. Player 2 will use the following set of keys:
- I to jump left;
- O to jump right;
- P to use the power-up;
This game has a lot of characters. Try them all!
Steve is the first character that you get to use, as he is the default. Unlock the other ones, who are classified like this:
- Standard Characters
- Special Characters
- Action Characters
- Map Players
- Athletes
- Animals
- Famous Characters
Maps? It's got them too!
The first map we played on was a construction site where we got out of a cargo truck. The second one was on a running cargo train, on top of its trailers. Play this game a lot and you will experience all of them, some surprises too!
How to play?
Player 1:
