To win the battles, in either the story mode or free play mode, you need to reach the end of the songs by playing their notes according to the charts, Boyfriend sits on the right, because if you miss said notes too much and your health bar depletes, you lose.
To hit said notes, when the floating arrow symbols match above him, press the identical arrows, or tap the corresponding spot on the map, with each note having its own lane.
