Who is Spirit?

In the original movie, it was the name of a wild stallion horse who got captured during the times of the Old West, who then bonds with a man called Little Creek, and Rain, a mare who becomes his love interest.

The 2017 series is set in modern days, in a small town called Miradero, where Lucky, a girl who just moved in town, encounters Spirit in captivity, whom she frees, and together they bond as horse and rider!

She quickly makes friends with other girls in town, namely Pru and Abigail, who also have their own horses, and together they go on incredible horse-riding adventures day after day.

• Lucky is half-White, half-Mexican, the natural-born leader of her group, who is brave and likes following the rules!
• Pru is the smartest of the bunch, always hatching up a great new plan for her friends when they're in trouble.
• Abigail is the youngest in the group, sometimes naive, but always the kindest among them!
