Matt's Unlucky Day - is the story's title at the beginning of the game, where Matt is a young man happy to have won a tour of the new restaurant Papa Louie, named Papa's Sushiria. The management of the restaurant announces Matt as the lucky winner in a letter that reads as follows:

Our lucky winner is happy to take part in a tour of the new restaurant. While Papa is showing him the restaurant, he manages to break a decorative object in the shape of a cat (for those who don't know, a cat that waves to customers. It is a Japanese symbol used in the past for new businesses because it attracts more customers).
The two are unfazed by their bad luck and quickly go to the tip jar to see if they can find some money to rebuy the object. The problem is that there is not a single penny in it.

The game has a variety of characters, but at the beginning, you will be able to choose between the following:
- Matt is the male character dressed in a black Japanese suit with a green suit and black shoes. He wears a white headband with the restaurant's logo on his head.
- Clover: The game's female character; she is dressed the same as Matt, having a blonde haircut and short hair.
- Custom Worker: Here, you can customize your character based on the money in your account.
The restaurant is divided into four stations, as follows:
- Order Station: here you must meet the customers and take orders from them. You will also have to return with the finished dish and make the payment.
- Cook Station: The part of the restaurant where you will be able actually to cook the sushi. Here, you have a unique table for sushi, with three ovens where you will have to boil the fish meat, and at the same time, you can observe three frying indicators that you will have to respect to cook the best sushi dishes. After the fish meat is cooked, you can go to the next station.
- Build Station: Here, you will have to give free rein to your creativity because you will have to create a special plating for each client. In addition to the main dish, you will have to add fruits, vegetables, raw salmon, or cream cheese to the main dish.
