You begin with Twilight Sparkle as your main dancer, but as you finish songs and dance routines, you unlock the other ponies too. Try to keep the rhythm as well as possible in each song to get 3/3 stars. The stars are what unlock new characters, and new dances to perform!

Watch on the right side of the screen when the musical notes hit their buttons at the bottom. At the same moment, click/tap on those buttons to match them with the beat and symbol. That is how you make your dance moves according to the rhythm of the song!

Get as many of them correctly, to make the meter go from star 1, to 2, and then to 3. Each new song is more difficult than the last, with more patterns added. Of course, that also means the dances get more fun!
