In the Single Player Mode (vs bot) you can choose to play with 4 people on the board, or just 2, nothing in between.

the same choice is given when you join rooms in the ludo online mode;

Use the mouse to click on the dice to throw it. As the dice finishes rolling, you will get a certain number. That is the number or moves your peon can make.

Peons are in 4 colors:

Yellow
Green
Red
Blue

You advance squares on the map based on the dice you've thrown, and as you do it, you race to be the first one to reach the middle where your color is.
