The Challenge mode is the first one made available for you to play in, where you challenge opponents one after the other, but as you progress through it, you can unlock more of them, including:

Here are the sets of controls you need to know to take a hold of your characters and their powers:

Player 1 moves with WASD, K to jump, J to attack, U for hot attack, I for unique skills, J+K for life skill, O+L to expand skills.
Player 2 moves the ARROWS, 2 to jump, 1 to attack, 4 for hot attack, 5 for unique skills, 1+2 for life skill, 3+6 to expand skills.

In some of the modes you go up against a given set of enemies in a given time that you have to defeat, you might team up to do it with the second players, or you can encounter waves of zombies that are always going in front of you and you need to take them down.

The soldier mode relies more on guns that you have to use, instead of regular weapons, and the battle mode reminds you of Mugen Games, which is a heavy inspiration in this series.
