Use WASD to move and jump with it, and you are going to have to get past the pits, avoid hitting into the spikes, or into the square monsters directly. If you do any of these things, you lose and have to start again from scratch.

Instead, collect all the stars along the way, then the key, and after the portal has been opened, make sure that you go through it and complete the level, advancing to the next one, which becomes more difficult, but more fun too!
