for the perfect start, press the accelerator when the speedometer needle is in the green zone;
shift the gear when the needle is in the green zone for the perfect shifts;
in each new shift, the green zone gets smaller, so you need to be more precise in hitting it;
click on the up shift button (green) on the right to shift up;
click on the down shift button (red) on the left to shift down (but you're not supposed to do it);
