In each level there are enemy samurai for the ninja to defeat, something you help him do by shooting shurikens at them, using the mouse to drag the cursor around, and finding the right angle to shoot at them.

Of course, the number of throwing stars you are allowed to use per level is limited, so don't run out of them, and the fewer of them you need to use, the more stars you earn, as you can get from one to three stars per level, in a total of 21 amazing levels which increase in both difficulty and fun.
