Pacman Doodle
We know that any kind of Pac-Man Game online is eaten up by the visitors of our website, just like the Pacman eats all the dots in the mazes, which is why we never miss the opportunity of sharing with you such brand new games, just like it is the case today with Pacman Doodle!
Play Pac-Man through the Google maze!
Doodles are the visual representations of the Google logo on the main page of their search engines, doodles that can have different designs when there is a special occasion to be celebrated, and this time it is the release of the Pacman game, without a doubt one of the most iconic arcade games in the world.
That is why the maze you are playing in goes all around the letters of the search engine's name, but the classic rules still apply. Use the arrow keys to move around the maze with the Pacman, a yellow circle, to eat up all the dots in the maze and gain points in return.
There are four ghosts, each one in a different color, and they are haunting and hunting you, so make sure to avoid them touching you because if you lose all your three lives, you also lose the game.
Also, get the cherries for extra points, and if you grab the big dots, you can eat the ghosts instead for a few seconds, a very neat power-up.
Pacman 30th anniversary
Pac-Man 30th Anniversary refers to an interactive Google Doodle launched on May 21, 2010, celebrating the 30th birthday of the iconic arcade game Pac-Man, originally released by Namco in 1980.
- It was Google's first interactive Doodle, turning the search engine’s logo into a fully playable Pac-Man game.
- The maze was creatively shaped like the word “Google,” and the game featured all 256 original levels, including the infamous level 256 bug ("kill screen").
- Players could enjoy authentic sounds, graphics, and gameplay mechanics just like the original arcade version.
How to play?
- Single Player: Use the arrow keys to control Pac-Man.
- Two Players: Click "Insert Coin" twice to activate co-op mode — the second player controls Ms. Pac-Man using W, A, S, D keys.
Tips & Tricks
1. Learn the Ghost Behaviors
Each ghost has a unique AI pattern. Understanding them is key:
- Blinky (Red) – Always chases Pac-Man directly.
- Pinky (Pink) – Tries to ambush you by moving ahead of your current direction.
- Inky (Blue) – Uses a combination of Blinky’s position and yours, making him unpredictable.
- Clyde (Orange) – Alternates between chasing you and wandering off.
Knowing how each ghost moves helps you predict and avoid them.
2. 🌀 Use the Tunnels
- The left and right edges of the maze have tunnels that let you move to the opposite side instantly.
- Use these to escape ghosts, especially when they’re closing in from multiple sides.
3. 🍒 Don’t Ignore the Fruits
- Eating fruits gives bonus points. Grab them when it’s safe, but don’t risk your life for them.
- They usually appear near the center of the map.
