Who doesn’t love a good old game of Pacman game? Pacman is simplistic, it’s recognizable, and the sounds of Pacman online as he goes on a semi-murderous rampage through edible ghosts bring back an odd nostalgia we didn’t know we had.
Instead of spending hard-earned money to take a long road trip to a retro arcade to play Pacman, you can do it from the comfort of your own home.
The Gameplay for Pacman online
If you’re not familiar with Pacman, then the gameplay is simple: eat all the dots on the board. There are no other objectives in Pacman. You do get extra points for eating the ghosts, but that shouldn’t be your main objective.
If the ghosts are starting to get in the way of you and victory, you can eat the larger dots to temporarily make them food. Consuming a ghost gets you 50 points in Pacman.
Pacman never gets boring. You never know when you’re going to have your streak broken. Pacman is simply just a matter of racking up as many points as you can without dying.
In order to accomplish this, you need to follow some of these best practices and tips when playing Pacman:
● Don’t go for kills when you don’t need to. The ghosts never die. They simply go away temporarily to give you a chance to get to a part of the board that was blocked off from annoying ghosts.
● Strategically save the big dots for when you need to clear ghosts. Similar to the previous tip: don’t go for the big dots right away. Save them for when you really need them.
● Think ahead: Don’t just turn corners of the maze hoping one of the ghosts won’t follow you. Think nine steps ahead, and if you’re interrupted by the movement of a ghost that went in a direction you didn’t want it to, then adjust.
