Like with most other games with Mario, his mission is to reach Princess Peach in her castle. She sent out a letter to him, telling him she had baked him a cake. Now, join Mario in the adventure, as he goes to the castle. Surprise! The princess is not there! She's been kidnapped by Bowser, so we're going out to rescue her!

Use the WASD keys to move with Mario. Press the J key to jump, and press K to attack. If you press K while running, you can make a roll. These are your main controls.

Inside the castles, and outside them, avoid any dangers. Don't fall into pits, or water, get burnt, or get hit by Koopas and other kinds of monsters. Defeat Bowser's minions by jumping on top of their heads and stomping them. You only have four lives, and losing all of them means losing the game.

Find as many stars as you can, and collect them. They give you points, and you want a big score, don't you? Dive into green tunnels to find hidden levels to earn even more points from. Use any platforms that can help you get past obstacles.

Unlike most other Mario Games, this one is open-world! Visit the castles, their surroundings, and hidden rooms, at your own pace. No matter where you go, you will return to your main mission at times, and for sure will complete it!
