There are six maps you can choose from in the main menu, and in either of them, you need to do the same thing, which is shooting up the enemies that get spawned on the screen, with them becoming more powerful and bigger in number as you keep progressing. If you find new weapons and power-ups, grab them and use them against these monsters.

Use WASD to move, shift to run, space to jump, the mouse to aim and shoot, press space twice to activate the jetpack, and change weapons with the mouse wheel. With the points you win through the game you can buy new weapons for your avatar.
