As your Toca character runs, click or tap to make them jump, doing so to get over pits, avoid the bees and traps, and obstacles such as spikes, because any of these things will cause you to die, which brings you back to the beginning of the level, which you then need to attempt to finish once more.

Along the way, collect as many balls as you can, of all colors, and use them in the shop to buy new skins for your character, or upgrades and power-ups, which you can also find along the way on the courses.
