As is the case with this genre, the map slowly shrinks round after round, so that players are forced to meet with one another and shoot the others, which is what you attempt to do, while avoiding getting shot and killed yourself. Try being the last player standing, or at least rank as high as possible and get many kills.
If you find weapons and upgrades on the map, don't hesitate to pick them up and use them to your advantage. Use the WASD keys to move, space to jump, the mouse to aim and shoot, shift to run, R to reload, F to pick up items, G to throw grenades, E to construct a fort, the 1, 2, 3 keys to switch items or weapons.
