Between the police officer and the robber, there will be lots of wooden tiles and platforms, but they can be dragged away using the mouse, so swipe in the direction you want them to go after touching them, or using the finger if on a mobile device.

The goal is to make the cop touch the thief because then he is caught and the level is cleared, but if you lose the cop to the abyss and he falls somewhere else, you lose and have to restart that level.
