With the mouse, you are going to swipe right and left to move your trainer on the courses, with whom you should primarily focus on collecting the Pokeballs so that when you see monsters, you go towards them and hit them with the balls. The number on the monsters shows how many balls you need to hit them with.
If you manage to do it, you take that monster into your custody, and by the end of the run, try collecting as many as possible, if you get them through the green gates, you can even evolve them. There's a fight at the end, where you win if you have more monsters or stronger ones, but each new run and battle gets more difficult than the last, for sure!
