Immortal: Dark Slayer is a hypercasual RPG-action-adventure game with a top-down view, inspired by the likes of Dark Souls or Elden Ring. Try it!

How to play Immortal: Dark Slayer

As with other hypercasual games, you get right into the action, controlling your hero by dragging him around with the Mouse, WASD keys, or touch controls, depending on whether you are playing on a phone or tablet.

Advance and get in the vicinity of your first enemies, and slay them with your sword. After doing so, you reach the first 'wizard' where you can use the coins you've earned to upgrade the following stats/abilities:

Damage
Health
Crit Damage
Move Speed
Percent Health

After this checkpoint, a new wave of enemies expect you, and this one is bigger, and more diverse, with different classes of foes you have to defeat. You will battle bandits, demons, monsters, and the more you advance, the stronger they get. You have to keep up!

Defeating the bosses you encounter at checkpoints during the game will bring about the biggest rewards, allowing you to make important upgrades and purchases. Each new boss you encounter is stronger than the last, and the same is true for the minions between them.

Explore the open world!

At the moment of release the game is divided into 2 chapters when it comes to the storyline, and you will be able to play them through a total of ten different maps, each with their own setting, monsters, and bosses. Conquer all of them!

Level up!

Since the enemies you encounter get stronger, leveling up your hero, as previously mentioned, is the key. You will take the gold and diamonds you've earned from fights to make those upgrades, and you can go to the base and to the traders to make these upgrades.

Diversify your weapons!

In addition to having better stats, it si important you buy new weapons to use, such as:

greatsword;
two-handed axe;
hammer;
double blades;
and more...

Choose your faction!

Depending on the fighting style you like the most, you will be able to join one of three factions and take on their particularities when in action:

paladins;
crusaders;
hunters;
