You will be paired up with a rival for each match, and the one that gets further through the course, and reaches deeper spots in the song, will be the winner, so make sure you have a bigger record than them. Each player has a pet as their skin and the character that will be doing the hopping.

The pet jumps forward automatically, and you need to swipe right and left to make them change positions to get from one bouncy platform to another, which all represent a note in the song. The red platforms are longer notes, and thus you will be making longer jumps with them as well.
