Reach the end of each zone, one zone per level, and make sure to collect as many rings as possible along the way, because if you run out of rings and hit into the robots, spikes, and other kinds of traps and obstacles that kill you, you die and have to restart all over again from scratch.

Use the arrow keys for running, and Z to jump and roll. Know that if you slow down, you won't be able to run through loops, climb hills, or jump on platforms very well, which can hinder your performance.
