As Stan skateboards forward in the city automatically, you have to press the spacebar to make him jump, get over the various obstacles in your path, make special moves, and collect the bonus points to increase your score as much as possible.

To do the Barrel Roll or the Kick Flip, use the Up arrow key, but you can use them only after you've picked up such upgrades and bonus moves. Doing jumps between obstacles also brings you extra points.
