You will have multiple icons of imposters in various colors, and what you seek are groups of at least two identical ones next to each other, and if you tap on them, they get cleared and the ones upwards of it are going to collapse. Try collapsing six at once to get a bomb, which is a special move that will do lots of damage.
At each level, you have to keep making connections to fill up the bar before the time granted for clearing the level runs out on you, and the more extra points you get from collapsing imposters, the better! New blocks of imposters will come from below, so don't let the imposters hit the ceiling, or you lose the game.
