Welcome to Pokemon Moon!

Here are your main objectives:

• explore the Alola region
• catch wild Pokemon and complete the Pokedex with 81 new Pokemon
• battle other trainers
• defeat the gym leaders
• defeat Team Skull, the new villains

How to play:

Use the arrow keys to move, Z for A, and X for B to select and make decisions.

Start your story by choosing a starter Pokemon from:

• Litten
• Rowlet
• Popplio

Catch them all!

Players are encouraged to discover the island, and in the wild, they will encounter wild Pokemon. Fight them, and defeat them. When they are weak enough, throw the Pokeballs at them to catch them.

• create a big and diverse team of Pokemon
• you can change Pokemon mid-battles, so use their specific powers to gain the upper hand

Turn-based monster fights and how they work:

Whether you are fighting a wild Pokemon, or battle another trainer, the battle system is the same. Take turns in choosing an attack, and it will be enacted. Deplete the health bar of your enemy to win, until you deduce it to zero. If they do it to you first, you lose instead.

Always evolve!

Evolve as a player by undergoing as many battles as possible, and the more you advance in the story, the harder they get. This also encourages you to work harder, and become smarter.

Evolve the Pokemon at your disposal. When in battles, and after they're done, the monsters earn experience points. Level them up to get them stronger, and try to complete all their evolutions, as Pokemon can have up to two or three forms.

Catch the legendary Pokemon!

As always, each game in the franchise has their own top Pokemon. It will take you lots of hard work to find it, but try to do and defeat it. This version's legend is:

• Lunala

New additions to Pokemon Moon:

• special and powerful moves called Z-Moves
• alien creatures - the Ultra Beasts
• better 3D graphics
