This is a classic platform-adventure game with running and jumping, and Mario as the protagonist. What sets it apart is its location: Brazil. Complete each level in the cities of Brazil and along the coast in beach resorts. Start with Copacabana! Then, complete all the other levels, save all the other Brazilian locations, and bring peace in the nation!

How to play Mario Goes to Brazil (controls)

ARROWS to move;
Z to jump;
X to fire;

Run and jump!

These are the main moves you will use to dash ahead and complete each level. Run along the courses, and jump on platforms!

Stomp the enemies!

Rockets, Koopas, Turtles, and other monsters/enemies are all over the place. Don't bump into them directly. You lose size, or your lives. Instead, jump on top of their heads to stomp them and take them down!

Get coins!

Collect them from out in the open, or hit the bricks to get them from inside. The more coins you get, the bigger your score!

Find the mushrooms!

They give you extra powers and benefit you. They can be:

red mushrooms, which make you bigger;
green mushrooms, which give you extra lives;

Find the fire plant to gain the ability to shoot fire. Press X to do so. Use it to shoot down enemies from afar.

Find the star to get limited but really useful invincibility. You can dash straight ahead through the enemies with no worries while using it!
