The game, unlike most of the other entries in the series, is a spin-off that focuses on RPG elements and has a battle simulator that allows you to build your own cities that go to war with other cities, and which you need to protect from invaders while developing them bigger and better.

With your selected Cookie character you try to accomplish tasks that help you develop your level and abilities, either in the Adventure mode, or the Kingdom Development mode. Enhance your character by finding materials that do that or opening up chests with tons of upgrades and surprises.

Of course, you start with a limited patch of land and a basic hero, with your cookies being divided into several classes that you pick from:

Charge
Ambush
Defense
Magic
Ranged
Bomber
Support
Healing
