Whether you are playing in the story mode or free play mode, winning is achieved in the same way, by reaching the end of the songs, which happens only if you play your notes according to the charts.

This means that when the arrow symbols that float match above BF's head, you need to press the identical arrow keys. Miss too many times in a row and you lose, so focus and win instead. Good luck, enjoy!
