After making your choice between playing in the story mode or free play mode, for either of them, make sure to reach the end of the songs by playing their notes according to the charts, using the arrow keys to press them at the same time as the identical arrow symbols match above BF to the right.
If you miss said notes too many times in a row, and your health bar depletes, you will instead lose, so make sure not to let that happen, but win each rhythm battle instead!
